indian vedic horoscope

Sanjeev Anand is a Vedic Astrologer from Kerala, South India. He was born into a traditional Hindu family of astrologers where the practice of Astrology has been passed from father to son for many generations. Sanjeev Anand began to receive training from his father while still a young boy.

In Sanjeev Anand's village, as well as in much of rural India, astrological principals were a part of the customs and rituals of village life; education in the subject was as much a way of life as a focus of study.

Thus Sanjeev Anand, like many before him, learned Astrology both as a science involving mathematics and the application of numerous laws and principles, as well as a style of thinking which holds tantamount the premise that all life is sacred and connected to an organic whole.

From his youth, Sanjeev Anand had a deep interest in spiritual life, and desire for greater experience and understanding led him to seek out many saints and sages in India. Thus began a long association with both unknown sadhus as well as many of the most revered spiritual leaders of our time.

Sanjeev Anand earned a degree in business studies and law and traveled widely in his capacity as a financial and legal advisor to the companies he represented.

In 1979, he was invited by Swami Muktananda to come to America as an astrological consultant. By 1982, Sanjeev Anand had established his own consulting practice where he has continued for the last 25 years.

Sanjeev Anand&acutes many years in America, and his extensive travels in Europe, Asia, and elsewhere have given him ample opportunity to study how astrological principles are expressed differently in various different cultures. He has become an expert in integrating the astrological principles of Vedic Astrology into the cultural mores of America and other western cultures, a somewhat daunting prospect for an astrologer visiting from the East.

Sanjeev Anand has played a key role in bringing Indian scholars with expertise in astrology, ayurveda and yoga to the United States, and has sponsored many occasions for the exchange of ideas between the East and West. He supported the creation of the American Council of Vedic Astrology, and served a term as its Honorary President.

He has been awarded the titles of Jyotish Kovid (Proficient in Jyotish), and Jyotish Vachaspati (Professor in Jyotish),and Jyotisha Sagar(Ocean Of Astrology) by the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences. He is on the Board of the American College of Vedic Astrology.

Considered a teacher of teachers, Sanjeev Anand is credited for training countless astrologers in advanced methods of delineation. He has been the keynote speaker in many symposiums, and continues to be sought after for lectures and teaching engagements wherever there are individuals wanting to learn Vedic Astrology. He now resides in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles and travels extensively throughout the United States and abroad teaching astrology and giving astrological consultations.

Indian Horoscope Astrology Matching

The Indian Vedic Horoscope (stellar or K P System ) is based on NAKSHATRA JYOTISH (Stellar or constellation) derived by great Indian astrology research scholar Prof. K .S . Krishnamurti.

Prof. Krishnamurti brought a revolution in the field of Indian Vedic astrology. He studied the ancient Sanskrit texts of vedic astrology and elucidated the knowledge scientifically. The K P System is based on Nakshatra (Constellation or star), lord and their sub divisions, called sub lord. Prof. Krishnamurti Discovered the method of Horary Astrology and Natal astrology, which provide clear, concise, accurate and correct predictions. This method is logical and gives a complete scientific approach to astrology.

All the other Predictive Astrology systems give importance to The RASHI (SIGN)- the 1/12th part of The Zodiac- 300 each zone. No other system goes further Deeply in zodiac, after the Rashi or sign.

Nakshatra (Constellation) is further division of The Zodiac, the 1/27th Part = 130 20' each zone of the arch. This division is based on the average daily motion of the Moon .

These Nakshatra are zone or groups of stars or a major star, which are at a great distance from our Solar system.

Cosmic energy radiated by these stars are reflected by our solar family planets and influence our worldly matters.

Prof. Krishnamurti found that two or more planets in the same RASHI (SIGN) and same BHAV (HOUSE) in a horoscope give different results.

WHY ?

There are 3 full and partial Nakshatra in the span of a 300-area of a Rashi (Sign). K.P. found signification of planet in the horoscope depend on the Nakshatra in which it is posited.

Again K.P. researched that two or three planet in the same sign and same Nakshatra give the opposite results in the same matter, i.e. one planet Gives sound health, other gives illness. One gives marriage, other gives Divorce.

Why is this?

Then he further divide each Nakshatra or star, total 249 divisions. Each division called 'sub', and the ultimate result depends upon this 'sub' of star.
